Fragment No. 11
Collaboration with Pär Frid and Julien Tarride
Live performance for soprano, live video, live electronics
2006, Royaumont, France
Commissioned by Fondation Royaumont in the 2006 concert season

I was invited by Pär Frid and Julien Tarride to collaborate on their commission from Fondation Reyaumont for a live-interactive performance piece for piano, electronics and live video.

I worked with Frid to make some live interactive instruments, principally using Max/MSP, a Lemur, and a lot of analysis-resynthesis; my work with Tarride concerned the real-time control of video instruments he built using Isadora and ways to relate the sound to the image. Most of the instruments are shared as a part of _aLib, principally in the "for analysis" folder.

There is a pdf on Royaumont's site with some notes and Frid's score is available through his publisher. The only documentation that I have are some random pictures taken by Frid.
